2.1.   Children Exposed to DV First Responders:  approved to provide emergency counseling in the event of a DV emergency, such as a homicide, to assist victims and survivors. 

2.1.1.      Training and the costs thereof are being addressed.  $10,000 budget thus far.  First Responders, CPS, and Law Enforcement have the information. 

2.1.2.      Raye advised that Alliance is providing an office

2.2.   Older Adult Issues Committee:  May 20, 2010, Elder Abuse Prevention Conference, is progressing.  $25 per person

3.      List identifying chair and contact points of the various committees is now on the website.

6.2.1.      Conflicting restraining orders showing up at daycares and schools

6.2.2.      Putting training together to address what a restraining order looks like and how to prioritize them.

6.2.3.      Next issue is to identify who needs to be there for training.

6.2.5.      Suggested to train attendance clerks as they are often the initial point of contact

7.1.1.      Courts trying to develop registry to have access to criminal restraining orders to look for prior orders.  Should be up in about a year.

7.1.2.      Criminal order  trumps family court order

8.      Roundtable:

8.1.   Kern SO and BPD now have issued cards to their officers giving protocol for DV call questions.  They have also enacted a template for DV reports.

8.2.   Research Graham v Connor

8.3.   Standard form for service of DV restraining orders for all advocates.  TSM to provide.

8.4.   High Risk Search Warrants:  pending legislation.  TSM to research.  Nada has internet site.
